Clay Workshops and Art Education
Alongside my own practice, I have been working with young people and adults within various communities and organisations in and around South London. Facilitating and asisting in the running of workshops often focused on using clay as a material, to encourage creativity and playfulness through making.
I have worked with organisations including:
Mud Gang Pottery CIC, various community clay workshops.
Roots and Shoots, clay workshops with vunerable young people aged 16-24.
Two Temple Place Gallery, ‘Body Vessel Clay’, community workshop making coil pots and sculptures with adults with mental health support needs.
Southbank Open Spaces Festival, community table top clay exhibition.
Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre, a series of 1 day workshops for school children.
Richmond and Kingston Mind Charity, Youth Mindfullness with clay workshops for local young people.
Brockwell Bounce, Family clay activities and table top exhibition.
Artisan Kidz, After school arts workshops in community arts studio.
