Clay Workshops and Art Education
Alongside my own practice, I have been working with young people and adults within various communities and organisations in and around South London. Facilitating and asisting in the running of workshops, using clay as a material, to encourage creativity and playfulness through making.
I have worked with organisations including:
Mud Gang Pottery CIC, various community clay workshops.
Roots and Shoots, clay workshops with 16-25 year olds who have had difficulty coping in the traditional educational system.
Two Temple Place Gallery, ‘Body Vessel Clay’, community workshop making coil pots and sculptures with adults with mental health support needs.
Southbank Open Spaces Festival, community table top clay exhibition.
Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre, a series of one day workshops for school children.
